I had more bloodwork done this morning and they called this afternoon to tell me that my levels are dropping. This is good news as it means that my body is miscarrying naturally and will not require any intervention. Since my levels were so slow to rise and so slow to drop they want to do an extra precautionary ultrasound on Friday morning along with more blood work. I am very thankful for our new doctor and nursing staff and the great care we received this pregnancy from their office. Although we didn't make it far enough to begin any interventions I was monitored very carefully. I am also very thankful for everyone that prayed for us and for everyone that checked in on us over the last few weeks.
We haven't given up on the idea of having a biological child, but now after 5 losses we know that may never become a reality. We have just begun the adoption process and I will share what that is going to look like in a future post.
I just want to thank everyone for the love and support...love you all!!!
I'm glad to hear your body is taking care of things on its own so at least you don't have to worry about meds or a D&C or anything. I'm so sorry that you're going through this though. It breaks my heart, so I can't imagine what it does to yours. Hoping for bright things and lots of hope to come your way in 2015. I'll be following. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra for always being there!!! I'm hoping for a better year in 2015!!!
