A few of you haved asked recently how the process is going, but as we knew going in, the process is slow. We have everything submitted on our end and now we are just waiting to hear when our home visit will be. I've read this is usually about a 3 month wait from the time all of the documents are submitted. We have completed our 4 online classes and now only need to complete our CPR certification and attend a workshop next month on April 18th (and another in the fall). Also while we are waiting we are beginning to put our photo book together (the book prospective birth parents look at to decide on adoptive parents). So our to do list is much shorter, but now there is much more waiting involved.
I was much more tuned into the process when we had lots to do, but now that everything is out of our hands it doesn't feel like things are progressing and my excitement is slowly disappearing. Please keep us in your prayers and pray for patience for us during the wait!
